David discovered Whit's while living in Asheville, NC. He immediately fell in love with their frozen custard and became a regular customer, going a couple of times a week. In 2017, David moved to Charlotte, NC with his family and noticed that there was not a Whit's Frozen Custard location near him. After searching and planning, David finally found the perfect location. David and his son opened Whit's Frozen Custard Fort Mill in March of 2019 and have been dishing out smiles ever since!

Whit's Frozen Custard Fort Mill serves up premium frozen custard made fresh daily. We are located just across from the entrance to Baxter Village. We are open 7 days a week offering 4 fresh flavors daily (Vanilla, Chocolate, Flavor of the Week and Flavor of the Day) that can be scooped in cups or cones. We also stock our most popular flavors in our Grab and Go Freezer in Pint and Quart containers. We also offer shakes, sundaes, banana splits and Whitsers (any of our array of toppings lightly blended with one of the freshly made flavors) as well as vegan and sugar-free options. Our most popular item is the Whittie. It's our custard sandwiched between two store-baked cookies. We typically have a dozen or more varieties available for purchase. We also have made-to-order custard cakes and are available to cater any size event.
